Whole-House Music Distribution
A simple
press of a button or turn of a knob, you can hear music from
CDs, satellite or cable music stations, an IPOD or any other
music source, just as if you were standing in front of the
equipment itself. Whole house audio eliminates the need for
separate or portable stereos and offers a convenient way to
manage your library of music no matter how big or small.
One of the best parts of a whole house music system is you can
control and access all your different music sources from each
room. You can play your favorite CD in your living room while
your IPOD or another music source simultaneously plays in a
different room. You can even play the same music source
throughout your entire home. No matter what the scenario is you
will never sacrifice the audio quality.

Deciding where you might want to listen to music can be tough,
especially if you are building a new home. You may see no reason
to include music in your guest bedrooms, unfinished basement and
bath rooms. However, you should at least install the wire to
those areas. (You never know what that room might be in 3 to 5
years from now). This way, even if you don't install speakers
right away, the wire will be there when you're ready. You can
easily add a pair of speakers and a volume control in the future
if the wire is already behind the walls.
A few questions to ask yourself about your type of system
-
What
areas (inside and out) do you want music in?
-
Do
you need the ability to play different music in different
areas simultaneously?
-
Will
you want complete control of your system from each room or
just the ability to control the volume?
